It has been a great experience and opportunity for Almater at the annual IFT event, this year scheduled in Las Vegas from June 25th to June 28th.
The annual IFT meeting is one of the most important events in the world where the most creative minds in food science, food industry, government institutions and the academic world gather each year with the purpose and the pleasure of sharing and presenting One another’s latest research, innovative solutions and far-reaching topics in the field of food science and technology.

Many sessions on current issues, new FSMA regulations, latest news about product shelf life, innovative treatments such as high pressures (HPPs), microwave treatments, US labeling and specifically on the new nutrition declaration, allergen management, active packaging and the implications of FSMA regarding American importers (FSVP) called for new fulfillment to ensure the quality and food safety of products to be marketed in the USA on June 27 where Dr Massimo Scuccato also participated as rapporteur with Steve Armstrong, EAS Independent Advisor for Food Law and Regulations, Robert Brackett, Director of the Institute for Food Safety and Health at the Illinois Institute of Technology and Sandra Langford-Coty of AN Deringer Inc., moderated meeting by Charles Breen, EAS Independent Advisor for FSMA Consulting Services.

An unmissable appointment that made it possible to learn about the state of play of applying the new FSMA legislation in the US and the enormous problems that American operators are facing to confront and adapt to the biggest regulatory revolution on food for the last 70 years.

In addition, we have conducted several comparison and alignment sessions with our partner EAS Consulting Group LLC and its top FDA experts regarding the Almater adaptation model for domestic companies exporting to the US and importers.

The Almater model has been rated highly performing and correctly set in all its aspects, and thanks to its collaborative work, it has been further enhanced and improved to be best implemented in the various customer companies.

Almater is therefore the best solution for a complete and unexpected adaptation to the new FDA legislation for all companies that produce and export to the United States of America.
