Almater will join its partner EAS Consulting Group, LLC at the IFT Annual Meeting in booth 2617.
IFT17 is where the most creative minds in the science of food—including industry, government, and academia—come together with purpose and vision to share and challenge one another with the latest research, innovative solutions and forward thinking topics in food science and technology.
On June 27, it is scheduled the session entitled “041 Foreign Supplier Verification Program (FSVP): Are You Ready?” where will be presented important news of the FSMA regarding the importers called now to ensure new requirements about food quality and safety of products for the US market.
EAS Independent Advisor for FSMA Consulting Services, Charles Breen, will moderate the panel, Massimo Scuccato of Almater will report on the effects of this regulation on producers and exporters European companies in the light of the Daily Almater activities as consulting for major companies in the food sector.
The June 27 panel will also include: Steve Armstrong, EAS Independent Advisor for Food Law and Regulations; Robert Brackett, Director of the Institute for Food Safety and Health at the Illinois Institute of Technology; Michael Lahar, corporate compliance manager, A.N. Deringer.
